Military


Lindsey Rowland is an Iraq War combat veteran who served 10 years as an active-duty Army officer, including two tours in Iraq, most notably a 15-month deployment during the 2007 Iraq “Surge.” 


Lindsey is a Bronze Star Medal (BSM) recipient, earned

the Combat Action Badge (CAB), and the Parachutist Badge, among many other awards. She served as a logistics officer and was later selected as a Foreign Area Officer (FAO) for Germany. Lindsey served in some of the most distinguished military units, including the 10th Mountain Division, graduated from the Defense Language Institute (DLI), and Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey.


State Department 


Lindsey completed a fellowship in the State Department's political section at the US Embassy in Berlin shortly after leaving the military. 


The Hill


Lindsey resides in Washington, DC, where she started working on the Hill as a military fellow, assisting a member of Congress who chaired the Military Personnel Subcommittee of the House Armed Services Committee. As a registered lobbyist, Lindsey later worked at Franklin Creek Consulting, where she lobbied Congress on behalf of Native American groups, including Native veterans.


She has her own lobbying firm, LR Lobbying, which specializes in legislation affecting active-duty military. She has worked on high-profile legislation, such as the Brandon Act, which expanded access to mental healthcare for active-duty service members. She sits on the board of the Brandon Caserta Foundation, which was created as a follow-up to the legislation. 


Republican


Lindsey served as chair of the DC Republican Ward 6 and veteran group, is a member of the DC GOP Executive Committee, and was a Republican National

Convention 2024 delegate. Lindsey is the President of the America First Club, DC Chapter, which recently launched.
